Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Xactimate Estimator to join our growing construction and restoration team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of insurance restoration estimating, supplementing, and invoicing. This role requires proficiency in Xactimate, experience working within CRM systems, and the ability to create accurate retail and insurance estimates for roofing, siding, gutters, interior, and remodeling projects. The Xactimate Estimator will work closely with sales representatives, project managers, homeowners, and insurance carriers to ensure projects are properly estimated, approved, and invoiced from start to finish. Responsibilities Estimating & Documentation Create detailed and accurate estimates using Xactimate. Prepare both insurance and retail estimates for residential and commercial projects. Review scopes of work, photos, measurements, and inspection reports. Write estimates for roofing, siding, gutters, interior repairs, remodeling, and storm damage restoration. Insurance Supplementing Submit and negotiate supplements with insurance carriers. Identify missing line items, code upgrades, and overlooked damages. Communicate directly with adjusters to maximize claim accuracy and project profitability. Track supplement approvals and maintain organized claim documentation. Invoicing & Project Coordination Generate invoices and final billing documents. Ensure invoices match approved scopes and completed work. Coordinate with other departments regarding estimate/job scope status and payment schedule from insurance company. Maintain accurate job files and update project statuses regularly. CRM & Administrative Duties Utilize company CRM software to manage leads, jobs, notes, and customer communication. Upload estimates and insurance documents into CRM system. Maintain organized records and ensure all documentation is complete and current. Customer & Team Communication Communicate professionally with homeowners, insurance carriers, and internal staff. Explain scopes of work and estimate details to sales and production staff when necessary Collaborate with sales and production teams to ensure smooth project execution.

$60,000.00 per year
