EleXcor.com Electrical Estimator Responsibilities Prepare accurate and timely electrical estimates for commercial, multi-family and residential projects Analyze drawings, specifications, and bid documents Perform detailed quantity takeoffs , labor calculations, and material pricing Solicit, review, and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing Collaborate with project managers, operations, and leadership during pre‑construction Participate in bid strategy, scope review, and value‑engineering discussions Maintain estimating databases, pricing tools, and historical cost information Support handoff from estimating to operations for awarded projects Estimator Qualifications (Required) Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator Strong understanding of wiring practices electrical systems and NEC requirements Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and specifications Proficiency with estimating software and Excel (experience with Accubid Estimating Software a plus) Detail‑oriented, organized, and deadline‑driven Strong communication and teamwork skills Experience estimating medical, office, retail, multi-family or residential projects is highly preferred.
