In 2026, DH Pace is celebrating its 100 th anniversary in business. DH Pace Company, Inc., is seeking to hire an Estimator to join our team in our Olathe, KS office! With minimal supervision, the Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate, timely, and competitive bids for Commercial Industrial Door and Loading Dock Systems. They will work to support our sales staff, resulting in profitable sales and positive customer relationships. Knowledge and/or experience in the construction or building materials industry is strongly preferred.
Job Responsibilities:
Rapidly develops or possesses advanced level skills at using DH Pace estimating processes and procedures and utilizing DH Pace estimating software as well as other business software programs. (Excel, Bluebeam, Smartsheet, BAAN, SAM, etc.) Rapidly develops or possesses advanced level knowledge of door and dock related products, understanding functionality, special features, usage options as well as pricing variance based on specific job needs Rapidly develops understanding of Core Product Lines, Vendors, Labor Standards Educates sales team on product options and assist customers in product selection to ensure sale and best project outcome. Generate accurate Project Cost Estimates and Bids Estimates advanced and complex projects of limited project size, writing all proposals clearly and concisely for review and approval by Manager prior to customer's review Additional responsibilities as assignedMinimum Qualifications:
Minimum two (2) years of commercial door/dock work experience- OR• minimum two (2) years of new construction commercial estimating experience •OR• minimum two (2) years of building material industry is strongly preferred.
