Job Description

The Associate Cost Estimator is responsible for supporting the team in accurately reviewing trailer specifications, preparing cost estimates and ensuring that quotes/orders are properly processed, documented, and communicated.
Duties & Responsibilities :
Review trailer quote specifications and verify for completeness and accuracy Use Excel to create formulas, verify calculations, and ensure totals are correct Communicate with suppliers to obtain pricing Perform basic math calculations, including Federal Excise Tax (FET) when applicable Manage multiple task simultaneously while meeting deadlines Data mining in Microsoft
D365 ERP
system Ensure proper documentation to include logging quotes on dashboard and saving supporting quotes, etc. Assist in the creation and maintenance of estimating calculators and tools Tracking and reporting of
Monthly KPI's Education:
Prior manufacturing environment experience required Equivalent experience in cost estimating, pricing, supply chain, or manufacturing will be considered in place of formal education
Core Compentencies:
Effective written and verbal communication skills for working with sales, engineering, production, and suppliers Experience with Microsoft D365 or similar ERP systems strongly preferred Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including formulas) and data entry Proficient in Microsoft Office Strong organizational skills Strong math skills, including ability to calculate percentages, markups/margins, and taxes Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under deadlines Compensation details: 55000-60000 Yearly Salary
