Raynor Doors of Lexington is a trusted provider of commercial and residential door solutions. We pride ourselves on delivering safe, reliable, and high-quality service to our customers. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Estimator to join our growing team.

Position Summary:

The Estimator will prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for overhead doors, coiling grilles, sectional doors, and loading dock equipment. They will be responsible for analyzing project documents, collaborating with clients and internal teams, and providing estimates that support effective planning, scheduling, and project execution. This role requires strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills to ensure accuracy and success.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and analyze blueprints, specifications, and project documentation to prepare material, labor, and cost estimates. Consult with clients, vendors, contractors, architects, and subcontractors to clarify scope, resolve issues, and adjust estimates as needed. Prepare estimates to support project planning, scheduling, and vendor selection. Enter data into estimating software to organize and manage costs effectively. Identify cost-saving opportunities and contribute to process improvements. Communicate clearly with team members, management, and external partners to ensure alignment on project requirements. Maintain neat, accurate, and organized project documentation. Support Raynor's management team and follow all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Estimating experience in construction, specialty contracting, or a related field preferred. Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and contract documents. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to learn and become proficient with estimating/accounting software. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong organizational and time-management abilities with the capacity to manage multiple deadlines. Ability to work standard business hours with occasional evenings or weekends to meet project requirements. Professional demeanor with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
