Elliot Company, Inc. (Elliot). Elliot is a full-service electrical contractor specializing in overhead and underground distribution, transmission, substations, lighting, traffic signaling, utility locating and industrial/commercial services. Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to develop accurate cost estimates for electrical and telecommunications construction projects. This role is responsible for analyzing project requirements, coordinating with stakeholders, and supporting pre-construction activities. Key Responsibilities Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for materials and labor related to electrical and telecommunications systems Manage and coordinate bid information among clients, general contractors, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams Prepare and distribute scope letters and project quotations Follow up with clients regarding submitted proposals and bid opportunities Assist Project Managers during the pre-construction phase Support senior estimators on large and complex estimates Qualifications Basic knowledge of the electrical trade and general construction practices Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Strong general computer skills Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and contract documents Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience with Accubid estimating software (preferred but not required) Ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail Benefits/Culture Today, we are listed among Engineering News-Records Top 150 Specialty Contracting firms.
