Lead Estimator / Project Manager (Heavy Civil Construction) Mandeville, LA (In-Person) Junot Group Job Description Junot Group is a growing Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business specializing in heavy civil construction, including site preparation, earthwork, excavation, grading, utility infrastructure, soil stabilization, demolition, and related services. We are seeking an experienced Lead Estimator / Project Manager to support both preconstruction and project execution . This role is responsible for preparing competitive bids and managing projects from award through completion. This is a key leadership role as we continue expanding our work across private, public, and federal infrastructure projects . Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates, quantity takeoffs, and bid proposals Review civil plans, specifications, and contract documents Develop project budgets, schedules, and execution plans Manage projects from preconstruction through closeout Coordinate with owners, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams Monitor project costs, schedules, and field performance Identify risks and opportunities during estimating and construction phases Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget Required Qualifications Minimum 7+ years of experience in heavy civil construction Strong background in both estimating and project management Experience with earthwork, grading, excavation, utilities, or site development Ability to read and interpret civil plans and specifications Experience managing heavy civil projects ranging from $1M-$20M Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with federal construction projects (USACE, VA, DoD) Familiarity with federal contract requirements, submittals, RFIs, and compliance Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field Experience with estimating and construction management software Compensation & Benefits $110,000 - $140,000 base salary (flexible for the right candidate) Performance-based bonuses tied to project profitability and company performance Health and dental insurance Per diem for project-related travel Company vehicle or vehicle allowance available based on candidate preference and role Opportunities for advancement within a growing company Apply If you are an experienced heavy civil professional who can price work, win work, and run work , we encourage you to apply.
