Responsibilities:
Promote company safety policies and uphold the R.H. White Code of Conduct in all interactions. Drive the development of mechanical estimates for water/wastewater projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness. Attend pre-bid meetings, clarify project details with clients and engineers, and coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing. Accurately quantify materials, labor, and equipment for Process Mechanical Systems for water and wastewater treatment plants and pump stations, including Flanged Ductile Iron, PVC/CPVC and Stainless-Steel pipe and fittings. Price piping networks and process equipment such as pumps, blowers, and chemical feed systems for water and wastewater treatment plants. Evaluate subcontractor proposals, perform scope comparisons, and leverage cost history to refine production rates. Develop schedules, monitor bid progress, lead estimate reviews, and assist operations during turnover and buyout. Visit jobsites regularly to maintain familiarity with project execution and provide technical support throughout the lifecycle.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline preferred; equivalent experience considered. 7- 10 years of process mechanical self-perform estimating experience in water/wastewater construction or similar water related heavy civil projects.
