Senior Construction Estimator Job Type:
Full-Time (Exempt)

$110,000 - $175,000
Schedule:
Monday-Friday Office:
Burnt Hills NY or Springfield MA Responsibilities Prepare accurate cost estimates from construction drawings and specs Perform quantity take-offs, cost analysis, and estimate development Assemble and submit bids (GMP, Cost Plus, etc.) Communicate scopes, bids, and project details to clients and teams Coordinate with subcontractors, architects, engineers, and consultants Analyze and level subcontractor proposals against scope requirements Identify value engineering opportunities to reduce costs Ensure complete scope coverage and eliminate gaps/overlaps Support post-bid activities and finalize subcontract scopes Qualifications Bachelor's degree + 2+ years' estimating experience (or equivalent) Strong understanding of construction documents and project scopes Proficient in Microsoft Office Strong communication and analytical skills Ability to work independently and manage complex tasks Physical ability to perform job duties (including occasional lifting up to 25 lbs) Must have federal contract experience.
