Job Description

Here at Master Millwork, we specialize in high-end custom millwork projects for Senior Living, Multi-Unit Apartments & Hotels throughout the Greater Boston Area and New England. We also provide high-end architectural millwork design packages for Restaurants, Nightclubs, Libraries and Schools. We've been able to grow and expand our business in the last few years and we're on the right track to continue that growth.
Description:
This Entry Level role is generally focused on gathering accurate information to create cost estimate proposals for large construction projects. Our company provides interior finish carpentry and millwork services, so experience in those areas is preferred. The ideal candidate would have experience in construction project management, be organized, motivated, and detail-oriented.
Key Responsibilities:
Review architectural drawings and contract documents to identify finish carpentry scope of work. Must have some familiarity with reviewing contract drawings and specifications. (Training will be provided for entry-level candidates). Prepare material takeoffs using Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Excel for review with lead estimators. Solicit vendors for pricing information and maintain database of cost information. Maintain strong relationships with vendors. Ability to communicate in a timely and professional manner is a must. Prepare formal proposal documents in Microsoft Excel for submission to clients. Document and organize all backup information/quotes for future reference.
Qualifications:
Familiarity with reviewing contract drawings and specifications Experience with the following computer programs (or similar): Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam Revu - (AutoCAD experience is a plus) Role requires an organized individual with attention to detail Role requires the ability to work as part of a team

Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
