Entry-Level Estimator (Construction/Civil)

Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Estimator to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in construction estimating, with opportunities to develop technical skills, gain project experience, and grow within the organization. You will work closely with experienced estimators and project teams to support the bidding and preconstruction process. Key Responsibilities Assist in preparing quantity takeoffs using industry-standard software for; Excavation (cut/fill quantities), Soil suitability analysis, Erosion & sediment control, Utility structures, piping, and fittings. Support the organization and maintenance of project documentation, including drawings, addenda, RFIs, and vendor communications Help maintain accurate and up-to-date records in SharePoint or similar document management systems Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and internal teams Assist in gathering and organizing subcontractor and material quotes Review project drawings, specifications, and geotechnical reports with guidance Participate in estimate preparation under the supervision of senior estimators What We're Looking For Strong Excel skills (required) Strong written and verbal communication skills Highly organized and detail-oriented Task-driven and self-motivated Strong time management skills Professional and personable Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or in progress) preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Basic understanding of construction methods and terminology Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Willingness to learn takeoff and estimating software (e.g., Agtek or similar tools) Strong communication and teamwork skills

Pay:
