Job Description:
A growing manufacturing organization is seeking a Lead Cost Estimator to drive pricing strategy, develop detailed cost models, and lead the estimating function for complex custom manufacturing projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Review RFQs, drawings, and specifications to develop accurate cost estimates Build pricing models across machining, fabrication, welding, finishing, and assembly operations Lead estimating efforts from quote development through submission Partner with Engineering, Operations, Purchasing, and Sales teams Mentor team members and help improve estimating processes and tools
Ideal Background:
7+ years of manufacturing estimating experience Experience with CNC machining, fabrication, welding, and assembly processes Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T Experience supporting custom or build-to-order manufacturing environments Leadership or mentoring experience preferred Defense, aerospace, or government contract experience is a plus
