We believe that you don't build a business, you build people and then people build the business. Summary We are seeking a skilled Building Construction Estimator to join our team in Portsmouth, NH. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy of project estimates which directly contribute to our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates for residential and commercial building projects. Collaborate with project managers and clients to gather necessary information. Analyze blueprints and specifications to determine project requirements. Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather data for accurate pricing. Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors. Monitor project costs and implement cost control measures as needed. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and pricing strategies. Qualifications Proven experience as a Construction Estimator or similar role in the construction industry. Minimum of 3 years experience in a Construction Estimator position. Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and pricing. Excellent negotiation skills with a keen eye for detail. Ability to analyze complex blueprints and specifications effectively. Experience with cost control methodologies is preferred. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Familiarity with project management principles is a plus. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook). Must have CAD program experience.
