Job Description

JOB TITLE
Specialist
DEPARTMENT
Quoting
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Build estimates, and price standard and special jobs at a level that keeps our products competitive and maximizes profit. Work together with multiple departments (i.e. Account Managers, Purchasing, & Engineering,) as needed to ensure accurate quotes and lead times. Follow up on quotations and modify quotes as necessary. Analyze and organize large amounts of data. Interpret customer documentation - BOM Drawings, prints, etc. Manage multiple projects concurrently. Develop new and innovative processes for quoting. Optimize information system components while working closely with finance and IT. Prepare cost estimates for labor. Purchasing of materials for rapid prototype quotes as necessary. Compiling and maintaining file information for all quotes. Maintain a positive relationship with customers/vendors. All other duties as assigned by your supervisor/manager.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Proficient in Microsoft Office. Expertise in Microsoft Excel preferred. Ability to multitask and prioritize. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work with a team or independently as needed. Must be able to sit at a desk and work in front of a computer screen for up to 8 hours per day. Must be able to read, write, communicate, and comprehend the English language. Must pass a pre-employment drug screening test and criminal background check. Must be able to meet all physical requirements as outlined in this position description. EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
Associate or bachelor's degree required. Quoting/Purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. CalcuQuote experience, or other quote software experience preferred. Pay:
$60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
