Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Buyer/Estimator to support project execution from the earliest customer request through final delivery in Saint Paul, Minnesota. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who can balance estimating accuracy, purchasing coordination, and day-to-day project organization in a fast-moving environment. The role works closely with a small team to keep schedules, materials, and documentation aligned while ensuring clear communication with vendors and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead project coordination activities from initial request intake through completion, ensuring progress stays on track at each stage.
  • Develop precise cost estimates for new work by reviewing project details and identifying material and timeline needs.
  • Manage purchasing-related tasks by coordinating with vendors, confirming availability, and supporting timely material flow.
  • Organize schedules, timelines, and internal project records so information remains accurate and easy to access.
  • Partner with a four-person team to support estimating efforts and maintain smooth project communication.
  • Adjust to changing priorities by monitoring open items, following through on commitments, and communicating updates proactively.
  • Maintain spreadsheets and tracking tools that support estimating, buying, and project visibility across active work.
  • Contribute to process improvement by enhancing spreadsheet-based workflows and reporting where needed.
