Job Description

Bates Electric is currently seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Estimator / Project Manager for commercial, residential, and industrial new construction and design-build projects. We are looking for a motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to be part of a well-established, growing company.
Position Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate and competitive estimates, takeoffs, bid packages, and proposals for commercial/residential/industrial projects Manage projects from pre-construction through completion including scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and forecasting Oversee job cost tracking, labor productivity, and performance Coordinate with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and field personnel Review plans, specifications, and bid documents to determine project scope and requirements Monitor budgets, schedules, and project progress Ensure compliance with safety standards, contract requirements, and company procedures
Qaulifications:
7+ years of experience in electrical construction project management and/or estimating Strong background in commercial and/or industrial electrical projects Proven ability to estimate and manage multiple projects simultaneously Proficiency with estimating software (Accubid, McCormick, ConEst, Bluebeam, or similar) Strong understanding of electrical systems, labor units, material pricing, and project scheduling Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills Ability to read and interpret construction drawings/specifications Electrical field experience or journeyman/master license preferred but not required
