Electrical Estimator | Kansas City, MO | On-Site | $80K-$105K + Bonus + Profit Sharing One of Kansas City's most established electrical contractors is looking for an estimator who can own a bid from first takeoff to final number. Must-Haves 2+ years of electrical estimating experience, commercial construction preferred 5+ years of hands-on experience with electrical systems, materials, and industry standards Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Trimble Accubid v16 a strong plus Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent experience Nice to Have Experience estimating projects $10M+; candidates who have worked large-scale bids will stand out About the Company One of the largest and most respected union electrical contractors in the Midwest, this Kansas City-based firm has been delivering complex electrical construction since 1974. With over 500 employees, they specialize in design-build, preconstruction, underground, data/comm, and specialty systems and are actively growing. What You'll Do Build accurate labor and material estimates for electrical construction projects from drawings, specs, and schedules Solicit, evaluate, and condition subcontractor and supplier pricing Price specialty and standard equipment; maintain and update cost databases Identify risks, assumptions, and clarifications and communicate them clearly to project leadership Support value engineering and preconstruction pricing efforts Hand off bids cleanly to project teams for execution Why This Role This is not a support-level estimating seat.
