About the

Role:

We're hiring an estimator who understands residential work and can confidently walk a job, identify what needs to be done, and put together a solid, accurate estimate. This is a field-based position—you'll be meeting homeowners, real estate agents, property managers, and business owners on-site. You'll play a key role in setting jobs up correctly from the start so our technicians can execute without surprises.

What You'll Do:

Visit job sites and assess repair or project needs Build clear, detailed scopes of work (not just rough numbers) Write accurate estimates that reflect real labor, materials, and time Identify potential issues before the job starts (water damage, bad framing, outdated installs, etc.) Communicate clearly with clients so they understand what's included—and what's not Coordinate with our technicians to make sure jobs are realistic and set up properly Handle a mix of work including punch lists, inspection repairs, and small to mid-size projects Work with time-sensitive situations, especially in real estate transactions

Types of Work You'll Be Estimating:

Drywall repair and texture Door/window installs and adjustments Trim and finish carpentry Deck and exterior repairs Basic plumbing and electrical fixes Fixture installs (lighting, fans, vanities, etc.) Inspection reports and punch lists

What You Need:

Hands-on experience in handyman work, construction, or remodeling (this is a MUST) Ability to look at a job and understand the full scope—not just the obvious issue Strong problem-solving skills—things don't always go as planned Good communication skills with homeowners and agents Organized and able to manage multiple estimates at once Comfortable using a phone/tablet to write estimates and communicate Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Pay based on experience (salary/commission/hybrid) Consistent workflow—no chasing jobs Opportunity to grow as the company grows

Pay:

$28.41 - $34.21 per hour
