Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Estimator to join a growing construction team. This individual will play a key role in the pre-construction process by preparing accurate and competitive project estimates for a variety of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong estimating experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Responsibilities:
Review plans, specifications, and bid documents to determine project scope and material requirements Conduct site visits to assess conditions and identify potential project challenges Prepare detailed cost estimates including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor pricing Utilize estimating software and Microsoft Excel to develop accurate bids Collaborate with project managers to support budgeting and project execution Maintain organized records of estimates, budgets, and project costs Assist with cost tracking, Work in Progress reporting, and cost-control efforts throughout projects
Requirements:
Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered Minimum of 5 years of estimating or construction management experience Experience with estimating software and Microsoft Excel Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license required; contractor's license or certifications are a plus This is an opportunity to join a well-established and reputable construction company offering long-term stability, a collaborative environment, and exciting project work.
