$120,000 - $160,000We're seeking a seasoned Mechanical Estimator who thrives on accuracy, collaboration, and winning work. In this role, you will lead industrial mechanical proposals from concept through submission, ensuring every bid is complete, competitive, and delivered on time.

What You'll DoLeading and scheduling bid review meetings to ensure deadlines and submission requirements are metPreparing and completing bid documentation using required forms, formats, and processesAttending pre-bid meetings, site walkthroughs, and client discussions as neededManaging all pre-bid documentation, including drawings, specifications, addenda, RFIs, and meeting minutesSoliciting, reviewing, and evaluating vendor and subcontractor pricingCoordinating all bid-related documents (bid bonds, insurance certificates, schedules, org charts, signatures, etc.)Supporting Project Managers with pricing for large change orders on active projectsMaintaining and improving the estimating database in partnership with Business DevelopmentBuilding and sustaining strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliersLeading post-award turnover meetings from Preconstruction to OperationsUpdating estimating templates, tools, and worksheets for continuous improvementGathering feedback from project teams to refine labor units and production ratesDeveloping familiarity with client site nuances and incorporating them into estimating strategiesFollowing up with clients throughout the bid process to strengthen relationships and clarify the scopeAuditing takeoffs and adjusting labor and material extensions to ensure accuracyWhat You'll BringAssociate degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent field experienceProven ability to estimate process piping and plumbing projects within industrial markets such as Pharma, Life Sciences, Food Processing, and General ManufacturingProficiency with estimating software (QuoteSoft preferred)Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and ProjectClear, confident written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated experience in industrial construction (required)Experience with piping systems, including carbon steel, stainless steel, BPE tubing, copper, ductile iron, PVC, and polypropyleneStrong understanding of P&IDs, orthographic drawings, and mechanical, electrical, and architectural plansWorking knowledge of applicable industry codes and quality standardsStrong analytical abilities and expert-level problem-solving skills
