This role offers the opportunity to contribute to competitive project proposals and cost estimates for impactful construction projects while developing expertise in preconstruction and estimating.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the full estimating process with guidance from Senior Estimators. Review project drawings, specifications, and bid documents to ensure complete project understanding. Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and cost estimates. Obtain pricing from vendors and subcontractors. Assist in developing competitive bid strategies and project proposals. Participate in design-assist and preconstruction activities. Meet project deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Conduct occasional site visits as required. Mentor and support junior estimators in their professional development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Experience in the electrical construction industry preferred. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and related documents. Strong analytical, mathematical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Bluebeam, Accubid, and AutoCAD. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Professional communication skills and a positive attitude. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Candidates with 5+ years of electrical construction experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. (Large-Scale Projects like- Datacenter, Mission Critical, Hospitals) Prior estimating, construction engineering, or construction management experience is highly desirable.

Pay:

$80,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
