This role combines B2B Sales, estimation, and a deep technical background in electrical operations to ensure we win electrical projects that can be completed on schedule and within budget. The ideal candidate brings a proactive mindset, a commitment to delivering quality results, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Duties and Responsibilities Prospect clients, build customer relationships, and identify opportunities Manage RFP responses and bid submission process Understand and document the electrical scope of potential projects Prepare estimates for electrical projects by performing take-offs and applying accurate labor and material costing Present and negotiate project proposals with customers, providing professional consultation on electrical solutions.
Qualification requirements:
AS or BS in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) 5+ years of experience as an Estimator, Project Manager, Sales Engineer or Account Manager in the electrical industry Deep technical knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and construction practice Proficiency in estimation and project/construction management software (e.g., Procore, Building Connected, Bluebeam, Trimble) Experience with Estimating Electrical Projects up to $1M Unlimited Electrical License American Industrial is an equal opportunity employer and will consider all applications without regards to race, sex, age, color, religion, national origin, veteran status, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information or any characteristic protected by law.
