Restoration Estimator

As a Restoration Estimator, you will play a vital role in assessing damage, preparing accurate estimates, and collaborating closely with clients, contractors, and project managers to ensure seamless project execution. Duties Review project plans, blueprints, and damage assessments to develop comprehensive restoration estimates. Utilize estimating software such as Xactimate, Dash, DocuSketch, to prepare detailed cost proposals. Conduct site visits to evaluate damage scope, gather measurements, and verify existing conditions. Collaborate with clients, insurance adjusters, contractors, and suppliers through negotiation to establish fair pricing and scope of work. Prepare accurate bid packages that include labor, materials, equipment costs, and profit margins. Monitor project costs throughout the restoration process to ensure adherence to budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities. Assist in contract negotiations and review contractual documents to align scope and pricing with project requirements. Skills Proficiency in construction estimating tools such as Xactimate. Strong knowledge of construction estimating principles, cost control measures, and pricing strategies. Experience with construction site assessments, damage evaluation, and project management fundamentals. Excellent negotiation skills to coordinate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors effectively. Familiarity with construction management processes, contracts, and project documentation. Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and repair specifications accurately. Effective communication skills for collaborating across teams and presenting estimates clearly.
