$80,000.00 - $95,000.00/year (based on experience).

The Opportunity You will serve as a technical anchor for preconstruction, transforming complex architectural visions into precise, actionable financial blueprints for elite waterfront structures. This role offers the autonomy to drive the bidding process for a regional leader while receiving specialized mentorship in unique marine construction methodologies. How You Will Make an Impact Formulate comprehensive cost estimates for high-end docks, decks, and shoreline structures to ensure project profitability. Execute precise quantity take-offs from detailed plans and specifications to minimize material waste. Analyze blueprints and technical drawings to define project scopes and identify potential structural hurdles. Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes to maintain competitive pricing and high-quality standards. Coordinate with project managers and field leadership to ensure seamless handoffs from bid to build. Identify strategic cost-saving opportunities and project risks during the initial preconstruction phase. Maintain meticulous documentation of pricing trends and historical data to refine future bidding accuracy. Required Qualifications & Experience Proven experience in construction estimating or a closely related technical field. Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting complex blueprints and structural drawings. Advanced technical skills in Excel and standard construction estimating or project management software. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple bidding deadlines simultaneously with high attention to detail. Excellent communication skills necessary for negotiating with vendors and presenting to leadership. Preferred Qualifications & Experience Background in civil, structural, or specialized outdoor construction environments. Previous experience navigating permitting processes for regulated construction sites. Familiarity with take-off software and advanced preconstruction workflows.
