Job Summary:

We are seeking candidates who are dedicated, hard-working, self-motivated, resourceful, and dependable; to Increase sales volume by successfully quoting customer requirements and improve margins by re-quoting existing customer parts Analyzing requirement documents, blueprints and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of all projects. Working knowledge for product pricing with the ability to maximize margins by combining material and labor rates for the overall project scope. Analyze blueprints to prepare cost, material and labor estimates. Work independently under deadlines with accuracy. Point of Contact for all assigned customers. Communicate with customers regarding status of quotations and/or follow-up on submitted quotations. Good time management skills. Present prepared estimates to management.

Estimating:

Review incoming prints/ customer requests to estimate the most cost effective method of manufacturing. Relay cost information to customers in an expedient and professional manner. Skills buyer purchasing, steel fabrication, estimating, costing, Estimation, application engineering, quoting

Requirements:

3+ years of experience in estimating parts in a machine shop environment. Analytical, communication and organizational skills. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, geometric tolerances and solid models Strong understanding of various metal types, fabrication and machining processes. Self-disciplined, self-starter Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel and basic email functions. HS Diploma or equivalent Must have experience in the Metal and fabrication industry. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Pineville, NC.
