In this role you will prepare accurate cost estimates and material take-offs for construction projects, with a primary focus in masonry and concrete. We value on-the-job growth and will invest in the right candidate, but a working knowledge of construction and project management is essential.

Job Responsibilities:

Review construction plans and specifications to produce detailed material take-offs and cost estimates. Coordinate with project managers to verify scope and ensure estimate accuracy. Maintain organized records of estimates, revisions, and project documentation. Stay current on material pricing and market conditions to keep estimates competitive. Support the team as needed with counter sales, phones, and general office coverage. Other tasks as assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

Working knowledge of construction materials, methods, and project management. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents. Proficiency with cost estimating software and tools. Strong math, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills. Clear written and verbal communication; comfortable working independently and as part of a team. Degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred/equivalent field experience welcomed.
