Job Description

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of construction projects by accurately estimating costs and managing project budgets. This position requires a strong understanding of construction management principles, contract negotiations, and cost control measures to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Duties Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates for construction projects. Utilize Prebuilt ML software to generate accurate estimates and manage project costs effectively. Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to gather relevant information for accurate pricing. Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best prices for materials and services. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and pricing to provide informed estimates. Experience Proven experience as a Construction Estimator or in a similar role within the construction industry is highly desired. Proficiency in using estimating software such as Prebuilt ML and Bluebeam for project management tasks. Strong understanding of construction site operations, contract negotiations, and cost control practices. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make sound decisions based on findings. Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members, clients, and stakeholders throughout the estimation process. A background in construction estimating, management, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
