What You Will Do (The Role) In this dual-focus role, you will provide critical estimating and sales support services to glass companies, architects, and building owners.

Estimating & Take-offs:

Use internal software to develop highly accurate project take-offs for materials and supplies, ensuring projects remain within scope.

Project Management:

Oversee project job costing, schedules of values, and inventory control for storefront products.

Coordination & Invoicing:

Schedule and coordinate material deliveries directly to jobsites. Invoice customers.

Communication:

Draft professional quotations, change orders, and contract modifications while maintaining clear verbal and written communication with clients, managers, and staff.

Travel:

Occasional Midwest travel required to promote products and services the company offers in the storefront metal division. What We Offer (Benefits)

Minimum Requirements:

Demonstrated ability to read, understand, and comment on architectural drawings, specifications, and shop drawings. Working knowledge of material take-offs and optimization. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Google Workspace products. Strong multitasking skills with a work ethic built for a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening. Valid Driver's License with proof of auto insurance and a clean driving record. Ability to work for extended periods in a stationary position at a computer workstation.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Direct glazing experience or deep understanding of commercial storefront metal ( Kawneer systems preferred). Experience creating estimates and quotes using Partner Pak software.
