This role involves analyzing specifications, drawings, and work scopes to produce detailed pricing for labor, materials, and subcontractor services Education and Experience 4+ years of experience in shipyard estimating, project planning, or marine engineering Strong knowledge of ship repair methods, marine systems, and regulatory standards (e.g., ABS, USCG, NAVSEA) Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications Proficient in MS Excel-based tools. Willingness to conduct ship checks in field or onboard vessels (including at height, in confined spaces, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree or certification in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture or similar field. Proficient with MS Excel tools Familiarity with government contract pricing standards. OSHA Maritime 10/30 certification a plus.
