Landscape Estimator (public)

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Landscape Estimator (public experienced) to join our client's team and drive the success of their public landscape projects. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs, preparing detailed proposals, and collaborating closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project scope aligns with budget expectations. Duties of Public Landscape Estimator Prepare comprehensive construction estimates for public landscape projects, including site development, planting, irrigation, and hardscape elements Utilize estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam to develop accurate bid proposals and manage project documentation Review construction plans, specifications, and contracts thoroughly to identify scope, materials, and labor requirements Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to negotiate pricing, terms, and contract conditions that align with project goals Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions, gather measurements, and verify project details for precise cost estimation Monitor project budgets during execution to ensure cost control and identify potential overruns early Assist in the development of bid strategies by analyzing market conditions, supplier quotes, and labor availability Qualifications Proven experience in construction estimating within the landscape or construction industry, especially public sector projects Strong knowledge of construction management principles, contracts, and project management processes Proficiency with Bluebeam for digital plan review and markup; HeavyBid or similar estimating software is highly preferred Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing and contract terms Hands-on construction site experience to better understand field conditions impacting estimates Familiarity with cost control techniques and pricing strategies for large-scale projects Effective communication skills to coordinate with internal teams, clients, and vendors effectively up to 100k! #civ123

$85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
