HVAC Project Manager/Estimator/Drafter

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled HVAC professional with experience in project management, estimating, or drafting to support our growing workload of large commercial and residential mechanical projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on knowledge of HVAC systems, familiarity with large bidding jobs, and the ability to create or update accurate as-built drawings. This role is key to developing competitive bids, supporting field operations, and ensuring that project documentation is precise and complete.

Responsibilities:

Project Management & Coordination Support planning and oversight of HVAC projects from estimating through completion. Collaborate with engineers, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to keep projects on schedule. Assist in managing timelines, deliverables, and project documentation. Estimating & Bidding Review blueprints and specifications for large-scale HVAC bidding opportunities. Prepare detailed takeoffs, cost estimates, equipment lists, and labor calculations. Work with vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing and evaluate cost options. Assist in preparing and submitting competitive bid proposals. Drafting & As-Built Documentation Create, update, or revise HVAC drawings, schematics, and mechanical layouts. Develop accurate as-built drawings to reflect field-installed conditions. Coordinate with field teams to verify measurements and system details. Technical & Administrative Support Provide HVAC-related technical insight to project teams. Assist with RFIs, submittals, change orders, and close-out packages. Maintain organized records, revisions, drawings, and project files.

Pay:

$80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
