Due to continued expansion, we are seeking an Assistant Estimator to join our preconstruction team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a long-term career in estimating and gain hands-on exposure to a wide range of commercial projects. You will work closely with experienced estimators and project teams, supporting the full bidding and preconstruction process. Key Responsibilities Assist with quantity take-offs and cost estimating Review drawings, plans, and project specifications Request, collect, and compare subcontractor and supplier pricing Support preparation of budgets, bid packages, and proposals Maintain estimating logs, databases, and documentation Assist the preconstruction team throughout the bidding cycle Help ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of estimates Requirements 1-3 years experience in estimating, project engineering, or construction Commercial construction experience preferred Ability to read and interpret construction drawings Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred What We Offer Competitive base salary: $60,000 - $90,000 (based on experience) Health, Dental & Vision Insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off (PTO) Structured training and mentorship Clear long-term career progression within preconstruction Why Join Us This role offers the opportunity to build a strong foundation in commercial estimating , working alongside an experienced team on diverse and challenging projects.
