Position Overview The Commercial Roofing Estimator is responsible for evaluating projects, developing accurate and competitive estimates, and supporting both sales and operations from pre-bid through project closeout. This role is critical to driving profitable growth by ensuring all estimates are thorough, well-scoped, and aligned with company standards. Key Responsibilities Support business development and sales efforts through technical expertise and client interaction Perform roof inspections, site visits, and field assessments for new construction, re-roof, and repair projects Analyze drawings, specifications, and field data to prepare accurate takeoffs, estimates, and proposals Communicate clearly with clients, vendors, and internal teams regarding scope, pricing, and timelines Source and manage pricing from suppliers and subcontractors Track bid activity, follow up on proposals, and assist with value engineering as needed Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure seamless project handoffs Maintain organized estimating files, documentation, and CRM records Qualifications 5+ years of commercial roofing estimating experience preferred Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems and installation methods (TPO, PVC, EPDM, Modified Bitumen, etc.) Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and perform detailed takeoffs Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Proficient with estimating tools such as EDGE, along with Excel, Microsoft Office, Procore, Bluebeam, CRM systems, and related platforms Ability to perform roof inspections and field assessments Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary Performance-based bonus and commission opportunities Hybrid flexibility available Paid time off and holidays Company iPhone and laptop Company vehicle (or vehicle allowance) and gas card Health insurance and additional benefits Ongoing professional development, training, and certifications If you're looking for a role where you can contribute at a high level, grow your career, and be part of a team that values quality, relationships, and long-term success, this is an opportunity worth exploring. #INDHP
