Construction Estimator

Job Overview :

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible to calculate project costs, prepare bids, and ensure accurate, profitable estimates for electrical installations of construction projects. Electrical estimators are responsible for analyzing project requirements and preparing detailed cost estimates for electrical systems. Their duties include (but not limited to): Analyzing project documents such as blueprints, specifications, proposals, and schedules to determine the scope of work and project requirements. Estimating labor, materials, and time needed for projects to calculate overall costs. Preparing and submitting formal bid proposals to clients and ensuring competitiveness. Communicating with suppliers, contractors, clients, and internal teams to clarify project details and refine estimates. Conducting site visits to gather data for accurate cost estimation. Maintaining updated cost databases to reflect current material and labor prices. Identifying potential cost uncertainties and incorporating them into estimates to avoid budget overruns. Collaborating with project management to develop schedules and allocate resources efficiently. Coordinate with main office Follow up with general contractors on prior bids Descope bids and meetings with customers to review project inclusions
