Conduct thorough site visits to gather on-the-ground insights that influence accurate pricing and scheduling. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to review contracts, scope changes, and project requirements. Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards. Monitor project costs throughout the construction process to ensure adherence to budgets through effective cost control strategies. Assist in contract review and management, ensuring all terms align with project goals and legal requirements. Skills Proficiency in construction estimating tools such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms while fostering positive relationships. Solid understanding of construction management principles, including cost control and project scheduling. Hands-on construction site experience that provides practical insights into on-the-ground realities. Knowledge of contracts, bidding procedures, and procurement processes within the construction industry. Excellent communication skills for clear collaboration with team members, clients, and vendors.
