Job description Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Traffic Control Supervisor & Estimator to lead our traffic management operations and provide accurate project cost estimates. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the safe and efficient control of traffic at construction sites, coordinate with teams to ensure compliance with safety standards, and develop precise estimates for traffic control services. Your expertise will help keep construction projects on schedule while maintaining the highest safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to blend leadership, technical skills, and estimation proficiency in a fast-paced construction environment. Responsibilities Supervise traffic control personnel to ensure proper setup, operation, and safety of traffic management systems on construction sites Coordinate with project managers and contractors to plan and implement effective traffic control strategies that minimize disruptions Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with safety regulations and traffic control plans Develop detailed cost estimates for traffic control services, including labor, equipment, materials, and permits Manage procurement of necessary traffic control equipment such as cones, barriers, signage, and flagging devices Oversee the operation of heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, dump trucks, and front loader trucks to support construction activities Ensure all work adheres to safety standards and industry best practices while maintaining productivity and quality Requirements Proven experience in construction site management with a focus on traffic control or related roles Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operation including dozer, loader operation, backhoe operation, grader operation, and utility locating Familiarity with construction processes such as paving, utility installation, and general site development Ability to accurately estimate costs related to traffic control services using detailed project plans and specifications Experience operating Caterpillar machinery or similar heavy equipment is highly desirable Excellent communication skills for coordinating with teams and clients effectively Valid certifications in traffic control or flagging are mandatory; w illingness to obtain necessary certifications is expected Join us in delivering safe, efficient construction projects by leading our traffic management efforts with energy and precision!
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
