Residential Plumbing Overview:
Using documented project management processes, applicable forms, and attachments, the Project Manager is responsible for the overall management of the construction project life cycle, including all activities from initial contract execution through final invoicing and post-construction activities. The estimator will prepare Plumbing estimates and takeoffs for residential single-family track homes, multi-family apartment units, and Custom Homes. Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare estimates for time, cost, materials, and labor.Education and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of Estimation experience in the Residential construction industry.
- Experience managing Single Family Residential, Multi-Family, and Custom Homes for Plumbing construction projects.
- Experience solely managing multiple construction projects of various sizes required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to accurately interpret contracts, builder's options.
- Ability to interpret all trade specifications and plans.
- Construction process knowledge
- Knowledge of construction methods and local permit practices
- Ability to multitask (multiple projects simultaneously)
- Communicate with the client, gather all necessary data, and analyze all information to assemble a complete project cost estimate.
- Ability to represent and market JMAC in a professional manner.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Great organization and time management skills.
- Software proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Computer Ease is a plus
