Restoration Construction Estimator

Responsibilities:

• Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes.
• Conduct site visits to assess project scope and identify potential risks or challenges.
• Utilize estimating software and tools to perform quantity takeoffs and cost calculations.
• Prepare comprehensive bid proposals that include labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Review and analyze subcontractor bids and negotiate pricing as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and related documentation.
• Assist in the development of project budgets and schedules. Qualifications
• Proficient in using Microsoft Word and Excel software and tools.
• Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of construction practices, materials, and methods.
