Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Estimator / Project Manager to lead our construction projects from initial estimation through successful completion. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately assessing project costs, developing comprehensive bids, and managing project execution to ensure timely delivery within budget. Your expertise will drive the success of our projects by combining precise estimating skills with effective project management, fostering strong client relationships, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-profile construction initiatives while working in a collaborative and energetic environment. Responsibilities Prepare detailed construction estimates by analyzing project plans, specifications, and scope of work using tools such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam. Develop accurate pricing strategies for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services to ensure competitive yet profitable bids. Negotiate contracts and pricing terms with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to maximize value and mitigate risks. Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within financial targets. Oversee construction site activities to monitor progress, enforce safety protocols, and resolve issues promptly. Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams to coordinate project requirements and expectations. Control costs through diligent tracking of expenses, change orders, and cost control measures while maintaining quality standards. Skills Proficiency in construction estimating software such as HeavyBid; experience with Bluebeam is highly desirable. Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable contracts and pricing agreements. Extensive construction site experience combined with solid understanding of construction management principles. Expertise in cost control, budgeting, and pricing strategies across diverse construction projects. Knowledge of contracts, project management methodologies, and safety regulations relevant to the construction industry. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders. Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation accurately.
