Estimator / Drafter

Our Metals location based in Hicksville is seeking an Estimator / Drafter . In this role, candidates should have an outgoing personality, good communication skills and like to work with the general public. However, we are willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

Ability to review plans/drawings, specifications in order to generate sheet metal take-offs Preparing computer-generated estimates for edge metal systems Estimating standing seam roofing systems, will train Preparing shop drawings and submittals documents Managing bids from contractors, follow up Work closely with

Branch Manager Qualifications:

Must have a can do, customer service first attitude. A good memory to be able retain a working technical knowledge on vast amounts of building materials Proficient in creating technical drawings in Autodesk AutoCAD Prior experience with sheet metal fabrication or metal roofing is a plus Effective time management and multi-tasking skills Commitment to the Company's mission and its core values Good verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills

Wage Range:
