$60,000 to $80,000 Salary Position Summary Liberty Restoration is seeking a capable and organized estimator to execute the timely, accurate, and profitable estimation of property losses. Help close and retain customers by promptly responding to requests for estimates on property damage, effectively communicating the organization's capabilities while maintaining the highest levels of customer care. The ideal candidate understands restoration, mitigation, customer service, job documentation, and the importance of keeping projects moving. This candidate is responsible for estimating residential and commercial properties affected by water, fire, mold, storm, and other property damage. This position prepares accurate estimates, scopes of work, and project documentation while coordinating with customers, insurance adjusters, project managers, and field technicians to ensure successful project execution. Primary Duties Estimating, Documentation & Claims Support Prepare detailed estimates using industry-standard software such as Xactimate. Develop scopes of work for mitigation, restoration, reconstruction, and contents projects. Review insurance losses, adjuster reports, and claim documentation. Negotiate project pricing and scope with insurance carriers and adjusters. Ensure job documentation is accurate, complete, and uploaded in a timely manner. Complete paperwork and documentation needed to support timely billing and payment of claims. Communicate with insurance representatives, adjusters, TPAs, customers, and internal staff regarding job scope, status, approvals, and documentation needs. Help ensure Liberty Restoration is properly paid for the work performed. Project Coordination Monitor project progress and communicate scope changes. Prepare supplements and change orders as required. Ensure all documentation meets insurance and company standards. Customer Service Maintain consistent communication regarding project timelines and expectations. Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly. Documentation & Compliance Maintain accurate job files and project records. Ensure compliance with company procedures, industry standards, and safety regulations. Assist with collections and invoice review when necessary. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of 2 years of restoration, construction estimating, or insurance claims experience. Proficiency with estimating software (Xactimate preferred). Working knowledge of water mitigation, mold remediation, restoration, construction, or property damage repair. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, people, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong customer service skills and ability to remain professional in difficult situations. Intermediate computer skills, including email, Google Workspace, spreadsheets, job software, and mobile applications. Valid driver's license and clean driving record required. Background check required. Ability to work independently while also supporting the broader team. Preferred Skills and Experience Experience in restoration, water mitigation, mold remediation, emergency services, construction, or insurance-related repair work. Experience with Xactimate or similar estimating software. Experience communicating with insurance adjusters, TPAs, property owners, and subcontractors. Ability to read scopes, estimates, sketches, job documentation, and written claim information. Strong planning, organization, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to create advocates, not enemies, when negotiating or resolving job issues. Performance Competencies Communication:

Fast-paced work environment with multiple projects and deadlines. Occasional travel to job sites, customer meetings, or training events as needed. May be required to work extended hours during catastrophic weather events or periods of high claim volume. Working Conditions Primarily office-based environment with prolonged computer use.
