Job Description
A well-established construction contractor is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Estimator. The ideal candidate is a self-driven problem solver with strong communication skills and a commitment to accuracy and high-quality work.

Coordinate subcontractor outreach, including solicitation and prequalification.
Review drawings, specifications, and equipment needs to incorporate accurate pricing.
Ensure estimates align with project scope, schedule requirements, and technical standards.
Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes for completeness and consistency.
Maintain and update cost history databases to support future estimates.
Develop preliminary pricing for indirect costs and general conditions.
Verify pricing for standard and specialty equipment.
Review all project documents to ensure full and accurate estimate development.
Identify potential cost or risk factors and communicate them to the estimating lead.
Prepare estimate assumptions, clarifications, and value engineering options.
Perform additional estimating-related tasks as needed.
QualificationsMinimum of two years of estimating experience in electrical construction or related fields.
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, construction management, or a related discipline (equivalent experience may be considered).Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (required); experience with Trimble Accubid v16 is preferred.
