Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Estimator to join our Foodservice Construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately analyzing drawings, specifications, and contract documents to develop competitive project proposals. Experience with AutoQuotes and blueprint/drawing review is strongly preferred. The Estimator will play a key role in maintaining strong relationships with vendors and clients, ensuring all bid documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted on time.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze drawings, scope, and specifications to prepare accurate and timely project proposals. Utilize AutoQuotes for estimating and pricing equipment and materials. Enter and maintain project data in internal systems and databases. Establish and maintain relationships with manufacturer reps, general contractors, and internal stakeholders. Proactively follow up with customers throughout the bidding process. Identify and resolve pricing discrepancies, ensuring proposals are aligned with project scope. Prepare project budgets and ensure timely submission to clients. Track bid status and update all documentation to reflect current project progress. Ideal Candidate Will Possess the
Following Skills and Abilities:
2-5 years of related experience in estimating, preferably in foodservice construction. Proficiency in AutoQuotes and reading construction drawings is strongly preferred. Excellent basic math and analytical skills. Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Customer-first mindset with a professional and collaborative attitude. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and adapt to changing priorities. Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in foodservice equipment, commercial kitchen design, or related industry preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Regular use of vision including close, peripheral, and depth perception.
