Job Description

Millwork Estimator - Join Our Growing Team We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Millwork Estimator to join our team. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in custom cabinetry, woodworking, or construction estimating who take pride in precision, organization, and craftsmanship. If you enjoy analyzing drawings and accurately projecting costs for custom millwork projects, we'd like to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Review architectural drawings, blueprints, and project specifications to determine millwork requirements (e.g., cabinetry, paneling, trim) Accurately estimate materials, labor, and associated costs for custom woodwork projects Prepare clear, detailed, and competitive quotes and bids for clients, contractors, and internal teams Source and negotiate pricing from vendors and suppliers to ensure cost-effective solutions Collaborate with project managers and production teams to ensure projects stay within budget and timeline Revise estimates as project scopes change or new information becomes available
Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in millwork, cabinetry, or construction estimating Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and technical specifications Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and numerical accuracy Proficiency in PlanSwift, Bluebeam , or other industry-standard take-off software Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with design, production, and sales teams Why Join Us?
