Job Description

Emerge is currently recruiting qualified candidates for a direct hire Millwork Estimator job in Mentor, Ohio for our client, a growing and quality-focused high end custom architectural product manufacturer . This position is responsible for reviewing architectural drawings and project specifications to develop accurate cost estimates for custom millwork projects. The Millwork Estimator will prepare bids, analyze material and labor costs, gather supplier pricing, and work closely with internal teams to support successful project planning. This role requires strong technical estimating skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage scope changes throughout the bid process. The salary range for this position is $72,000 to $75,000 per year and includes a comprehensive benefits plan. Responsibilities for the Millwork Estimator job in Mentor, Ohio include: Review architectural drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine project scope and estimating requirements Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and related project expenses for custom millwork work Develop clear and competitive quotes and bid packages Obtain supplier and vendor pricing to support accurate cost analysis Collaborate with project management, production, and internal teams to align estimates with project needs Update and revise estimates as project scope, pricing, or specifications change Maintain organized and accurate estimating documentation throughout the bidding process Qualifications At least 10 years of experience in millwork, cabinetry, or construction estimating Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, and technical specifications Experience estimating custom millwork, cabinetry, paneling, trim, or similar woodwork projects Proficiency with PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or similar take-off software Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Strong analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams High attention to detail and commitment to estimate accuracy If you are qualified for this position, please click "apply now .
