PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Quantitative take offs. Oversee and review project plans, requirements and specifications Demonstrated leadership ability to coordinate a team to develop an estimate Determine labor and equipment costs Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and materials pricing Understand project logistics and project schedule for Steel industry standards Understand all bid documents and assess project risks Review quotes and estimates with the project team Prepare estimates and different levels of completion ( conceptual, schematic, DD, CD, etc.) Orchestrate pre-construction duties and meeting with owners, clients and engineers Serve as company interface between owner & architect Bridge Estimator

QUALIFICATIONS

: 5+ years of steel estimating experience. Estimating Experience working on projects in excess of $15 million. Advanced computer skills with estimating software Extensive knowledge of construction costs and steel engineering principles Understand aspects of structural steel and concrete bridge design concepts.
