Overview Join our dynamic team as a Pre-Construction Coordinator/Estimator and be at the forefront of project planning and bid preparation! In this vital role, you will coordinate all pre-construction activities, develop accurate cost estimates, and collaborate closely with project teams to ensure seamless project initiation. Your expertise will help drive successful project outcomes by combining technical knowledge with proactive communication. Responsibilities Prepare detailed construction estimates utilizing construction estimating software and industry-standard tools via Buildertrend Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather scope details, specifications, and bid documents. Assist in developing comprehensive project schedules using Buildertrend project management software to ensure timely completion of pre-construction tasks. Review contracts, drawings, and specifications thoroughly to identify potential risks, scope gaps, or value engineering opportunities. Coordinate all pre-construction activities including site assessments, material take-offs, and subcontractor bidding processes. Maintain organized records of bids, proposals, contracts, and project documentation with a focus on accuracy and accessibility. Support project management teams by providing timely updates on estimating progress, potential issues, and schedule milestones. Experience Proven experience in construction estimating with familiarity in using Buildertrend or similar construction management software. Strong understanding of construction management principles including project scheduling, contract administration, and site coordination. Hands-on experience with construction site activities or prior work on active construction projects is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently through excellent time management skills. Knowledge of heavy civil or commercial construction projects is a plus. Effective communication skills for collaborating across teams and stakeholders involved in the pre-construction process. Pay:
$75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
