Project Manager / Estimator Collins & Sons Excavating is looking for a motivated and experienced PM Estimator to join our growing team. Site Prep Land Clearing Demolition and Removal Underground Utility Construction Drainage Mailine Construction Concrete and Asphalt Prep Road and Driveway Construction Septic Systems Pond Construction Arena Construction Waterline Tapping Services Storm Water Retrofits Hydra-Hammering Services Trenching and Backfill Snow Plowing and Removal Responsibilities:

Interpret and understand project documents, including scope of work, terminology, and specifications. Review and analyze project drawings and specifications to develop accurate estimates. Estimate material, labor, productivity, and equipment requirements for projects. Develop preliminary construction schedules. Foster and maintain strong communication and relationships with clients. Coordinate new project planning across internal departments.

Requirements:

Experience in commercial and residential excavation Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with HCSS HeavyBid software is a plus. Willingness to be trained in HCSS HeavyJob software. Strong team player, flexible, and willing to take on multiple duties as needed. Detail-oriented, organized, and self-driven. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and meet company requirements. Ability to work long hours and in varying conditions.
