This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-driven, and interested in building repeatable systems and processes as the company grows. You'll manage projects from preconstruction through close-out, support estimating and bidding, and play a key role in developing and implementing company processes —not just managing individual jobs. ⸻ Key Responsibilities Project Management Manage civil projects including concrete, excavation, grading, utilities, and site work Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and execution plans Track job costs, labor production, materials, and equipment Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation Coordinate with superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, and suppliers Lead project meetings and maintain clear internal and external communication Estimating & Preconstruction Prepare estimates for concrete and excavation scopes Perform quantity takeoffs from civil plans and specifications Assist with bid strategy, pricing, and scope review Support clean handoffs from estimating to operations Maintain estimating templates and historical cost data Process Development & Growth Help develop, document, and improve standardized processes for: Project setup and close-out Cost tracking and forecasting Change management Estimating and bid review Identify inefficiencies and implement practical improvements Help scale systems, tools, and workflows as project volume increases Support consistent use of construction software and templates Financial & Compliance Prepare pay applications and support billing and AR tracking Monitor budgets and proactively address cost risks Support prevailing wage compliance when applicable Ensure safety and regulatory compliance ⸻ Qualifications Required 5+ years experience in civil construction project management and/or estimating Strong background in concrete and excavation Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and specifications Experience with job costing, schedules, and budgets Proficiency with construction software (Procore, Bluebeam, Excel, or similar) Valid driver's license Preferred Estimating experience for site work and earthwork Prevailing wage project experience Experience helping develop or improve company processes OSHA 30 (or willingness to obtain) ⸻ What We're Looking For Highly organized and process-driven Comfortable working between the office and the field Proactive, accountable, and detail-oriented Interested in helping build structure in a growing company ⸻ Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary (based on experience) Performance-based bonuses Vehicle or vehicle allowance Health insurance and benefits PTO and paid holidays Long-term growth and leadership opportunity
