With offices in Southeast Texas, South Texas, and the Permian Basin, SWAT Construction Inc. offers its services across Texas, New Mexico, and Louisiana. Over the decades, the company has built a reputation for reliability and excellence in energy-focused infrastructure projects. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Civil Estimator based in Winnie/Beaumont, Texas. The Civil Estimator will be responsible for analyzing project requirements, preparing accurate cost estimates, conducting site visits, and collaborating with project teams to ensure budgets align with project goals. Additional tasks include evaluating bid proposals, managing project documentation, and developing detailed cost breakdowns to support project decision-making. Review and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, and schedules to fully understand project scope, risks, and requirements. Perform value engineering and cost optimization efforts to enhance project feasibility. Collaborate with Business Development to support pursuit strategies, including preparation of proposals, bid packages, and client presentations. Serve as a liaison with Owners, Architects, and Engineers during estimating and bidding phases. Partner with Project Management to develop preliminary project schedules and budgets. Qualifications Proficiency in cost estimation, budget analysis, and bid preparation Strong understanding of civil site work construction, pipeline construction, and maintenance processes Experience in project documentation management and report preparation Experience with estimating software (CAD, AgTek or similar) Skilled in using estimation software and other relevant digital tools Attention to detail and strong analytical skills Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred) Prior experience in the oil and gas or energy industry is an advantage
